We were referred to Deborah McCracken by a neighbor who had a great experience selling their house a few years ago. From day one Deborah was extremely helpful and informative. She met with us several times (on our schedule) and inspected the house carefully, giving us suggestions of ways to enhance the property prior to listing. She has a deep understanding of the local market and provided several comparative sales in the area to show us what to expect.

This was the sale of a family home and since I live out of state, I relied on Deborah to manage most of the logistics to prepare the house for sale. I couldn’t even list all the things Deborah did to help us with any needed maintenance or improvement projects. She referred vendors, met them at the house, and even purchased hardware etc. Well above and beyond our expectations!

The house sold quickly and of course Deborah walked us through the closing process, working with the real estate and probate attorneys etc. I credit the quick sale entirely to Deborah. She knew exactly what we needed to do to show the house in its best light, and priced it just right.

After a very frustrating experience with another local realtor, I sought Deb’s assistance with selling my home. Deb immediately put a marketing plan into action, scheduled showings, and ultimately found a buyer for my home which was a difficult property to sell. Not only did Deb ultimately help me sell that home, she found renters for me to cover a time where there was an overlap between when we got that home sold and the purchase of my new home (which Deb also helped me with) so that I wouldn’t have the burden of carrying two mortgages. Unlike other realtors, Deb put me at ease during the selling process and worked tirelessly to find a buyer when it seemed impossible at times. On the buying side, Deb offered candid and straightforward advice on properties that I went to see with her which helped me stay focused on the area and the type of home that I was looking to purchase. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying something that wouldn’t be the perfect home for me and my family. Deb also is great at helping her clients see beyond the cosmetics of a home and to see a home’s true potential. She is a strong advocate for her clients’ best interests whether she is the sellers agent or the buyer’s agent and works hard to make sure that any negotiations that might be necessary in the buying or selling process are handled in a professional manner and is frequently the “voice of reason” when working through issues for her clients offering good suggestions on when to compromise and when to be firm as she recognizes that buying or selling a home is a major life decision and can be a stressful and emotional time in someone’s life. I could not be happier with the service and dedication that I received from Deb during my buying and selling process. I will definitely use her again and cannot recommend her highly enough!
