The holiday season is a time of joy, giving, and community, and two of our dedicated agents, Lisa Liscio and Kelley Vanacore, are hosting their fourth annual Holiday Toy Drive to make this season truly special for children in need.
The event will take place on Thursday, December 12th, at 6:30 PM at Bistro Mediterranean & Tapas Bar, 383 Main Street, East Haven.
This year’s goal is ambitious: 2,000 toys. “We’re really ambitious and feeling grateful,” Kelley said. “We hope to see everybody there.”
With your help, the pair hopes to make the season brighter for those supported by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF).
The toys collected through this drive will go to Olive Branch, a program that provides essential support to families throughout the year. Jacqueline Ford, the Community Outreach Coordinator for DCF explained, “Thanks to donors like Lisa and Kelley, we have toys and items that really help us throughout the whole entire year.”
Beyond the toys, the Department of Children and Families has a broader mission. “Our goal is to keep families together whenever we can,” Jacqueline shared. The toy drive is just one way to help strengthen families by bringing joy during the holiday season.
